Carroll Morrison Stater

Carroll Morrison Stater, of Amarillo, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 7, 2023. Carroll was born on October 11, 1936 in Ottumwa, Iowa. He passed peacefully surrounded by family. He was a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, a respected businessman in his community, and a veteran in the Navy. Carroll spent his life serving the Lord. His faith and his love for his family were always his pursuits.

He went to his heavenly home preceded in death by his parents, John Raymond Stater and Ethel Stater; brother, Jack Stater; his sister, Gypsy Stater; his son, Brad Stater; and great-grandson, Noah Quinto.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Beverly Stater; son, Brice Stater and wife Lavonna; son, Brent Stater and wife Star; son-in-law, Chad Bailey; daughter, Beth Gowdy and husband Kyle; daughter, Becky Adams and husband Brandon; and by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
