Susie Banner passed away Friday September 20, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Scott Raef as officiant. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 - 7:30 pm, Monday September 23, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.

Susie was born June 12, 1951 in Sayre Oklahoma to the parents of Maurice and E.C. Hagood. She attended Amarillo schools and graduated from Amarillo High in 1969. She married Doug Banner in Hereford on August 11, 1970. They moved to Amarillo in 1980. She went to work for St. Anthony’s Hospital in 1982 and retired from BSA Hospital after 30 years. She loved fishing, ocean cruises, and playing slot machines.

She is survived by her husband Doug of 49 years, 2 sons Brendon and his wife Kim of Canyon and Bryan of Amarillo, 3 brothers, Rick Hagood and his wife Susan of Kingwood, Randy Hagood and his wife Michelle of Plainview, Rocky Hagood and his wife Karon of Colleyville, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to be to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
