Carolyn was born on March 2, 1940 in Tucumcari, NM.
She was preceded in death by her son, John R. Valverde, and mother Geneviève Vigil and father Florentino Maestas, brothers Wayne Maestas and Manny Maestas.
She is survived by her husband John F. Valverde and daughters Angel Griego and husband Don, Deborah Donahue and husband Mark, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, four sisters, two brothers, and many nieces and nephews and numerous family members.
