Carolyn Dale (Patterson) Pace

Born Carolyn Dale Patterson on December 18, 1943, in Shamrock, Texas and passed away peacefully September 26, 2021.  She is proceeded in death by her husband, D. Levi Green and her second husband, James C. Pace; daughter. Suzann; son, Timothy; her parents Perlina Box Rogers and Gerald Rogers.

Carolyn is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Pace-Arquilla, her devoted brother Jerry Rogers (Linda), grand-children, Brittany (Nate) Pace-Raymond, Isabella Arquilla, Primo Arquilla, and Giorgio Arquilla; nieces, Christy (Toby) Rogers-Trainer, Teresa Pace, and nephew Gary G. Rogers, and great grandchildren, Natalie and Emmett Raymond and great niece, Makenna Rogers and great nephew, Sean Rogers-Trainer.

After the death of her second husband, James, Carolyn took a position with ECI, which was later acquired by Mueller Supply, where she received many sales awards over her twenty plus years of service for her boundless sales ability; and her gracious ability to connect with people from all walks of life made her a favorite among her customers.  During her marriage, she served on several local organizations for the American Bar Association, American Cancer Society, Association of CPA wives, as well as many other charitable organizations.

Carolyn will always be known by those who knew her as a loyal, generous friend who possessed a witty sense of humor with a “can do” mentality.  She enjoyed traveling, spending time with grandchildren, and creating beautiful things.  She had a generous heart which was especially apparent through her love of animals.  Carolyn had many talents, if you could imagine it, she could create it.  She was loving a devoted wife, amazing mother, loving sister and doting grandmother.  The effects of her illness over the last few years have altered the pace in which she enjoyed her hobbies, traveling and her love in pursuing life. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and the many who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be 11:00 AM on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.
