Carol Lee Jordan, 70, of Amarillo died on Sunday, January 3, 2016. Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Carol was born on July 1, 1945 in Spanishburg, W.V. to Andy and Mildred Bell. She married the love of her life, Jerry Jordan on April 3, 1968 in Amarillo. Carol was CNA and worked in the Home health care industry. She loved taking care of people and never gave up on her friends or her patients, but most of all, Carol loved taking care of her family. She was an avid reader and loved the outdoors where she would sit and soak up the sun. She was a great cook and was known for her fried chicken and potato salad.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jimmy Don; two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; three daughters, Valarie Anderson and husband Ricky of Liberal, KS, Mia Carter and husband Frank and Amy Jordan, both of Amarillo; a son, Charles Jordan of Lincoln, ILL; two brothers, Troy Bell and wife Maggie of Amarillo and Terry Bell and wife Sunny Sue of Mullens, W.V.; a sister, Alice Brown of Charleston, W.V.; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
