Candy Sue Woods

Candy Sue Woods (Wilkinson), aged 60, passed away on August 10, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas, the same city where she was born on September 26, 1963. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and a deep devotion to her family and pets.

 Candy completed her education at Palo Duro High School and soon became a beloved figure in local school cafeterias, where she dedicated many years of service. Her kindness and nurturing nature extended beyond her family, touching the lives of countless food service employees over her career.

 Aside from her professional life, Candy was also a remarkably talented piano player, often found sharing her love for music with those around her. Her heart also knew no bounds when it came to animals, always providing a loving home for many pets.

 Candy is survived by her husband, Wade Woods; her sister, Margie Oster; and her brothers, Billy Duane Wilkinson and Chris Ray. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Dean Wilkinson; her mother, Lela Doris Wilkinson; her sister, Elaine Wilkinson; and her brother, Robbie Glenn Wilkinson.
