Camerina Lozoya-Villa, 81, of Amarillo, passed from this life on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Rosary will be recited at 6:00pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in St. Laurence Catholic Church Father Shane Wieck as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Camerina was born on October 22, 1936 in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico to Santos and Enedina Lozoya. She grew up in Mexico where she met and married Magdaleno Amparan. She moved to Amarillo with her family. She was a homemaker where she took pride in caring for her family. Camerina enjoyed joking around with her family, watching the birds, and painting her dogs nails.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Jose and Ismael Amparan; two daughters, Hilda and Concepcion Amparan; four sisters, and one brother.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, of 62 years, Magdaleno Amparan; eight children, Altagracia Amparan, Leticia Amparen, Adela Amparan, Olivia Amparan, Martha Amparan, Cornelia Amaparan, Ramon Amparan and Jesus Amparan; three sisters; 29 grandchildren , 26 great grandchildren and a one great grandchild due in October.
