It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Bandith Vongrasmy on December 9th, 2024. Born on December 31st, 1973, Bandith lived a full and vibrant life, characterized by his humility, generosity, dependability, and loving nature. His life unfailingly represented these qualities up until his untimely passing.
Bandith is survived by children Malysa, Shayla, Jadan, and Chauncey Vongrasmy; stepdaughter, Zeyda Madrid; Lori Quiroz (Mother of Children); his sisters Somchith, Souneth, and Sadet Vongrasmy; brother Russell Lasner; father Viseth Vongrasmy; stepmother Pranom Lasner; mother Souang Vongrasmy; and a vast community of friends and family who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his brother, Paul Lasner.
With a lifelong passion for sports including football and soccer, Bandith was never one to shy away from a friendly competition. He was also known for his hardworking nature and commitment to his family, always putting their needs above his own. He loved reminiscing about the good old days and spending quality time with his loving daughters.
Bandith's legacy is one of strength and perseverance. Emigrating to the United States as a teenager, he faced numerous adversities that shaped him into the man he was. These experiences enriched his life and those around him, as he passed on his wisdom to his children, teaching them life's most important lessons and sharing his love for cooking along the way.
The impact of Bandith's humble, genuine, and sweet personality cannot be understated. His passing leaves a hole in our hearts, but his memory will live on through the lives of those he touched.
Bandith's life was one of quiet strength and enduring love. His gentle smile and the depth of his kindness will be missed. Though he left this world too soon, his memory will live on in all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
