Bounta was born November 21, 1939 in Laos to Kham and Si Keovongsy. He grew up in Laos and married Onesa Vorasane in 1964. He moved to Amarillo in 1980 and worked for IBP until his retirement in 2004. Bounta loved his grand and great grandkids. Mr. Keovongsy lived a full life and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
