Bonnie Jean King, 82, of  Apache Junction, Arizona died on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Llano  Cemetery.   Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Generation Next at 3503 SW 6th Ave. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter Street.

Bonnie was born on August 14, 1933 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Odie and Jewel Gooding.  She grew up in Fayetteville where she attended local schools. Bonnie married Marvin King  on September 21, 1949 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was a minister's wife where she supported her husband in his ministry. Together they founded Soul's Harbor Church here in Amarillo.  She moved to Arizona in 1976, where she continued her ministry by attending Apache Junction Assembly of God  where she worked as the church secretary and played the piano.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Nadine Dunn and a brother, Tommy Gooding.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Price and her husband, George, of Tennessee, Rick King and his wife, Cindy, of Oregon, and Michael King and his, wife, Debbie, of Arizona; sister, Sue Reagan, of Arkansas; eleven grandchildren , fifteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Family will receive family and friends on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Family suggest memorials to any  Domestic Violence Shelter of the donor's choice.
