Bonnie Ereman, 104, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023 in Amarillo, Texas after a short stay in hospice. She was born on July 4, 1918, in Oklahoma. Bonnie was a remarkable individual known for her selflessness and commanding presence. She had a strong personality, always knowing what she wanted and fearlessly asking for it. Bonnie was a beloved grandmother and an integral part of her family. She lived independently until her hospice stay. Her favorite quote was "One day at a time is all the good Lord gives us." Luckily for those who loved her, He gave her many days!

Bonnie dedicated many years of her life working as an administrative assistant for the US Army. Her commitment and dedication to her work were commendable, leaving a lasting impact on those she served. She was a valued member of her community and will be missed by all who knew her.

Bonnie married the love of her life, Eddie Ereman, in 1940. They were married for 57 years, until his passing.

Outside of her career, Bonnie found joy in various hobbies. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, square dancing, sewing, and crocheting. These activities allowed her to express her creativity and bring happiness to others. Bonnie's passion for her hobbies was truly inspiring, sewing clothes for family and friends. She is now singing in Heaven's choir!

Bonnie is survived by her granddaughter, Kim Erbe and husband, Russ Erbe, and her great-grandchildren, Isabelle Tye, Zach Erbe, and Beau Erbe. She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, Judy Gibson, her granddaughter, Stacy Vandergriff, and her siblings.

In memory of Bonnie Ereman, contributions can be made to Meals on Wheels, a charitable organization that provides meals to those in need. Meals on Wheels took great care of her in her final years. Bonnie's generous spirit and caring nature will continue to live on through these contributions.

A simple graveside service was already held for her, as per her wishes. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. May her soul rest in peace.
