Bobby Dodson

Graveside service will be at 11:00a.m. Monday November 19, 2012 at Llano East Cemetery with Pastor David Stout and Dr. Guy Ellis officiating. Arrangements made by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors. Family will receive guests November 18, 2012 from 1-6pm at Coulter Road Chapel.
Bobby was born February 5, 1926 in Lawton, Oklahoma unto M.M. and Mollie Dodson. Raised there he attended and graduated from Lawton High School. He attended Cameron College for two years before joining the Navy. Mr. Dodson served his country proudly in World War II and was a decorated Veteran. On his return he married the love of his life Patsy “Babe” and they spent 62 wonderful years together until her passing in 2009. They lived in Amarillo for several years and then moved to their “Home away from home” Howardwick, Texas. Bobby loved to fish, golf and he could grill a steak like no other. He enjoyed spending time with his family and dearly loved his grandchildren. Bobby never met a stranger and if he did, they weren’t strangers for long. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his daughter Georgianna McLamb and husband Don; His grandchildren Buck and wife Lisa; Codi McLamb and two great grandchildren River Kade Mako McLamb and Lincoln Levi McLamb all of Amarillo.
