Bobby Eugene Corn

Bobby "Bob" Eugene Corn, 85, of Amarillo passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 18, 2019 at St. Laurence Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.

Bob was born on January 24, 1934 in Blackwell, OK to Leonard and Juanita Corn. He graduated from Waynoka High School and married the love of his, Linda Manzanres on August 3, 1973 in Enid, Ok. He attended and graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and was a funeral director for Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors for several years. After retiring from funeral directing, Bob worked for Santa Fe Railroad for ten years and then went to Potter County and worked on the Road and Bridge crew for fourteen years until retiring. Bob loved going to Las Vegas and trains but his real love was for his family and he will be greatly missed by them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Cheryl Nickerson, a brother, Leon Corn and his son-in-law Mike Slatton.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughter, Barbara Slatton; his son, Shawn Jones and wife Heidi; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
