Bobbie Rhea Osborne, 82 of Amarillo, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Family Life Fellowship Church, 3900 W. 58th. with Brother Dale Travis officiating. Bobbie Osborne was born on her family's farm in Wingate, Tx. to Goodwin and Bernice Polk Blackwell. She was the second oldest child. She married Tommy Osborne in 1947 in San Marcos. They had six children and were married 48 years until his death in 1995. She was a revenue accountant for Mesa Petroleum and retired in 1988.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter (Tommy) Osborne, her sons, Duane Osborne and Mark Osborne, her granddaughter, Gaylee Osborne Vigil, her brother, Benny Blackwell and her sister, Lynda Osborne.
Her life revolved around her love for Jesus and her family and her free time was spent being with them whenever she had the opportunity. Her love for her children and grandchildren could never be surpassed and she will always be adored by each and everyone of them. We are so thankful for her example and love and look forward to the day when we will all be together again with our sweet Mamu.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Osborne of Amarillo and Dennis Osborne of New Mexico, two daughters, Rebecca Fuhrman of Tulsa, OK and Deborah Land and husband Sandy of San Angelo; Eighteen grandchildren, Nineteen great grandchildren, Six Great Great grandchildren, sister, Brenda Preston and husband John of El Paso and several nieces and nephews.
