Bob Nicholson, Sr.

Bob Nicholson, Sr., 71, of Amarillo, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Friday, December 17, 2021 in Amarillo.  He was born on May 24, 1950 in Amarillo to the late Bill Nicholson and Geneva Shelton Nicholson.  On June 2, 1973, he married the love of his life Pam Bryant in Amarillo.  Bob was a master carpenter and worked for BSA for 30 years until he retired in 2005.

Bob had many hobbies including trains, hot rods, and vinyl record collecting. Some of his favorite things were spending time with his 3 sons working on cars, playing video games, and of course watching Hallmark movies with his wife. His favorite place to travel every year was the Colorado mountains.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Nicholson of 48 years; three sons, Bobby Nicholson, Jr. and wife Sarah of Amarillo, James and wife Carlie of Colorado and Brad Nicholson and wife Nena of Amarillo; grandchildren, Nessa, Brittany and Kenzie; brother, Sam Nicholson and wife Diane of Grand Prairie, Texas; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter, Amarillo.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.
