Billie F. Wilson, 85, of Amarillo died on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, September 1, 2016 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S Coulter St.
Billie was born on March 10, 1931 to James L. and Gertrude A. Dodson in Collinsville, Texas. She married Cecil J. Wilson on January 2, 1953 in Gainesville, Texas. She was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ and a home maker. Billie enjoyed going to Hilltop Senior Citizens and was an avid animal lover.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her sons, Joe Wilson and wife Debra and Dennis Wilson and wife Troyce; six grandchildren, Michael Scarborough, Alec Wilson, Jerrod Wilson, Carissa Wilson, Joshua Wilson and Katie Stone and eight great grandchildren.
