Beulah Mae Turner, 95, of Amarillo passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Emmanuel Church of Amarillo with Reverend Jo Taylor officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5:30 -7:00 pm, Friday, February 14, 2020 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.
Beulah was born on June 26, 1924 in Clarkville, TX to Lee and Ruby Cooper. She was a private home worker for many years. She loved to sew and sing hymns, but she really loved to go fishing. Beulah was a very strong and independent lady who took care of her family. Beulah was also an excellent cook and loved to cook for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard Ewings; a granddaughter, Jackie Moore; three brothers, Billy Cooper, Lee Cooper and Jeff Cooper and three sisters, Mattie Crain, Lillie Cooper Barnes and Lula Mae Harper.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Sanders; a son, Lawyer Ewings; four granddaughters, Tonia Bradley and husband Edwin, Chalanda Sanders and husband Al Carter Sr., Karen Ewings and Sharon Ewings; six great grandsons, Quincy Butler, Travon Cleveland, Allen Bates Jr., Al Carter Jr., Zavion Carter and Jakrey Carter; two great granddaughters, Latosha Sanders and Tronia Foster and eleven great-great grandchildren, LaTari Sanders, Treydon Williams, Jaquon Bates, Montrey Sanders, Analiyah Drone, Tagan Drone, Bralynn Carter, Kayla Williams, Jayce Bates, Brayden Carter and Cierra Salazar.
