Betty Wells

Betty Wells, 73, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Betty was born on March 25, 1948 in Amarillo to Ireta and George Chambless. She attended and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1966. Betty spent most of her life as a self-employed beautician. She enjoyed hobbies like card games, board games diamond painting, needlepoint, traveling, reading and cooking for her family. Betty was an amazing and kind soul who will be deeply missed by all who adore her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Mark Goen and her sister, Linda Tunks.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Wells; her children, Tiffany McKee, Amy Glass and husband Bob, John Goen and wife Lisa, Tim Wells and wife Mary Ellen, Amber Sutter and husband David; her grandchildren, Renae Davis and husband Zach, Emma Glass, Sara Wlliams and husband Robert, Kati Goen, Molly Sutter, Todd Sutter and wife Sarah, Evy Wells; great-granddaughter, Winter Sutter; her brothers, Robert Chambless and wife Lori, Gary Chambless and wife Fran; her sister, Ireta Angley and many nieces, nephews, family and friends
