Betty June Turner, 66, of Amarillo died on Monday, October 2, 2017. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter Road.
Betty was born on June 18, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to John B. and Babe Ruth Lackey. Betty worked in several different jobs before finding her niche as a truck driver. She loved her dogs. Betty will be missed by those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Joel Hollenstein, and a brother John Patrick Warner.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her sons, James David Howard and wife Tia and Patrick Shane Howard and wife Amber; a sister, Linda Milner and husband Larry; five grandchildren, Jessie Howard and wife Michele, Mercedes Honeycutt and husband Jason, Patrick Howard, Richard Howard, Gerald Howard; four great grandchildren, Jesse Howard, Melody Howard, Jason Honeycutt and Lila Honeycutt.
