Betty Muse

Betty Muse, 76, of Amarillo passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 surrounded by family. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 30, 2019 at Church of Christ at the Colonies with Dick Marcear officiating. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery East. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.

Betty was born in Wheeler, TX to Frank and Esther Caswell. She married the love of her life Harper Muse on January 16, 1961 in Wellington, TX. Betty was a proud member of the Church of Christ all of her life. She belonged to the Church of Christ at the Colonies for many years. Betty was an outstanding wife, mother and grandmother who loved and cherished her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceeded in death by her parents and a brother; Bill Caswell.

She is survived by her husband, Harper; a daughter, Misty Mellema and husband Sieto; a son, Todd Muse; 4 grandchildren; Tammo Mellema, Matt Mellema, Mitchell Mellema and Max Muse.
