Betty Jean Isham, age 73, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013. A memorial service will be Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home, Martin Road Chapel.
Betty was born in Lubbock on August 20, 1939 to J.T. and Minnie Medart. She was a loving Mom and homemaker, who enjoyed sewing, crafting and bird watching. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses she believed in the Bible’s resurrection promise found in John 5: 28-29.
Betty has two daughters Robin Isham and Theresa Isham both of Amarillo, two brothers Don and wife Carolyn Medart of Amarillo, Jack and wife Twana Medart of Lubbock and two sisters Helen Tebo of Lakeside, Az. and Laquita Lassiter of Amarillo.
