Betty Ann Hobbs

Funeral service will be  2:30pm Saturday Aug. 31, 2013 at the LaGrone
Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home, Martin Road Chapel, 1501 Martin Road,
Amarillo, with Brother Tommy Ewing of 10th Avenue Methodist Church of
Amarillo officiating
Betty was born on Sept. 5, 1940 in Childress Texas unto Eli and Audrey Carmack Worley. She was raised and educated in Amarillo and worked as a nurses aid a various hospitals. Betty then became a dark room tech at Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic retiring in 2002. Betty was a huge Dodgers fan, loved penny slots, painting and writing poetry of which some were published. She loved her family and adored her granddaughters. She was of the Christian faith and will be loved and missed by many.
preceded in death by her husband RL Hobbs, her parents, a grandson, Michael Lee Hobbs, and a stepson Ronnie Leon Peterson.
Survivors include her husband Steve Farley, two sons Ron Hobbs and wife Linette and Mike Hobbs, a daughter Andrea Morris all of Amarillo, a stepson Ken Peterson. Two brothers Frank and Bill Worley and three granddaughters, Amber, Christa and Breann.
