Betty Lou Clark, 78, of Amarillo passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 17, 2015 at Christian Church of God with Pastor Jeff Booth officiating. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.

Betty Lou Clark was born on March 25, 1937 in Borger to F.R. and Wilamina Copenhaver. She graduated from Borger High School. Betty was a housewife who took great pride in raising her children. She was very active in her church and loved being outdoors. She was an avid Texas Rangers fan and enjoyed the artwork of Thomas Kinkade. She was also a great cook, but most importantly she loved her family and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; two brothers and two daughters.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Laura Ponder and Leslie Hicks, both of Amarillo; three sons, Christopher Sursa and wife Christy, Robert Clark and wife Wendy and Jonathan Clark, all of Amarillo;a sister, Carol Munholland and husband Tom of Amarillo; a brother, Danny Copenhaver and wife Sharon of Framingham, MA; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:30 -7:00 pm, Thursday, April 16, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.
