Bettie White, 85, of Amarillo passed away on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday December 27. 2011 in Dreamland Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Haney officiating. Arrangements are by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St.
Bettie was born Nov. 27, 1926, in Amarillo to Liberty and Estelle Rice. She was employed with Doche and Co. for 40 years until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie White; a brother, Joe Rice; and a sister, Dana McDowell.
Survivors include a son, Bill Ulch of Norman, Okla.; four grandchildren; a brother, Bill Rice and wife Mildred of Canyon; a sister, Sue Stipe of Canyon; a sister-in-law, Mary Rice of Canyon; and special friends, Laura and Jerry Baryn.
