Bette E. Montgomery

Bette E. Montgomery, 77, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 in Amarillo.  She was born on May 29, 1944 to the late Huel Lee Hulsey and Loraine Davis Hulsey.  On November 24, 1964, she married Jerry Don Montgomery in Amarillo.  He preceded her in death on January 18, 2021.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Paul Montgomery and Brian Lee Montgomery and wife Lucy, all of Amarillo; grandchildren, Monique Speckels and husband Chuck and Samantha Trinidad and partner James Cordero; great grandchildren, Anessa Tedford, Charli Goff, Myla Speckels, Ramona Northcutt, Lorelei Bushman and Eva Cordero; one brother, David Hulsey of Amarillo.

A visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home on Martin Road.  Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Llano Cemetery East in Amarillo.

Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Montgomery, Brad Clark, Marty England, Joseph Huffman, John Stromberg, Austin Stone, Mark Stone and Jamie Simpson.
