Belinda Joyce MacVaugh, 58, of Amarillo, died on Sunday July 12, 2015. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 17, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S Coulter Road with Deacon Blaine Westlake officiating. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral directors, 8310 S Coulter Road.
Belinda was born on October 5, 1956 in Mobile, Alabama to Charles James Jr. and Alma Ruth Nagle. She grew up in Mobile where she attended local schools. She married James M. MacVaugh on May 17, 1985 in Houston, Texas. They moved to Amarillo, Texas in 2006 where she worked for ProAg as a Regulatory Filing Specialist. Belinda followed the Catholic faith attending St. Thomas Catholic Church. She enjoyed the love of all types of pets. She was also an avid reader and a meticulous craftsman in a variety of endeavors.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Nagle, a brother, Mike Nagle, father and mother in law, Kenard W. and Mary R. MacVaugh, sister in law, Patricia Ann Grant, brother in law, Kenard MacVaugh, and niece, Kassidi Jill Salquist.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, James MacVaugh, Amarillo; sons, Scott MacVaugh, San Antonio, and Ted MacVaugh, Amarillo; parents, Charles J., Jr. and Shirley Nagle, Kempner; brothers, James Nagle, Waco, Country Salquist, New Braunfels, Eric Salquist, New Braunfels, and Jeff Nagle and his wife, Sherri Wilson, New Braunfels; sisters, Debbie Sharp, Amarillo, and Patti Taylor, Houston; a sister-in-law, Polly Nagle of Waco; special niece, Lisa Debus, Gloucester, New Jersey and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Rescue Shelter Inc.
