Barbara Sue Melton

Barbara Sue Melton, 83, of Amarillo, Tx, passed away May 4, 2021. Barbara was born November 1, 1937 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Alven and Lorene Hardin. She was an exceptional homemaker and she worked as the bookkeeper for George B. Melton Construction. She enjoyed things like traveling on cruises and horseracing but her favorite things were dancing and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George B. Melton; her daughter, Cathy J. Melton; her sisters, Carol Updike and Lois Mullens and her brother, Floyd Hardin.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Melton; her son, Keith Melton and his wife P.J. of Mansfield, Tx; her 5 grandchildren, Logan Melton of Colorado Springs, Co, Brooke Melton of White Settlement, Tx, Rylee Melton of Burleson, Tx, Trevor and Trey Carver, both of Amarillo,Tx, Dylan Kibler, Garrett Kibler and Dawson Kibler all of Mansfield, Tx; her 3 great-grandchildren, Ivey Carver, Olivia Carver and Aspen Melton, all of Colorado Springs, Co.
