Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 8, 2012 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Clay Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
Mr. Marble was born Nov. 25, 1922 in Warren, OK to Merton William and Ada Belle Marble. He served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II and married Lou Ellen Hedgecoke at First Presbyterian Church of Amarillo on May 17, 1952. Audry owned and operated his own excavating business in Amarillo for over ___ years. He was a hard-working Christian man of integrity and honesty. Mr. Marble was a loving and devoted Husband, Daddy and Grandpa to his family. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ina Coffee and two brothers, Donald Marble and Ernest Marble
Survivors include his wife, Lou Ellen; two daughters, Melinda Lou Hodnik of Amarillo and Mary Ellen Mayfield and husband John also of Amarillo; a son, Jimmy Lee Marble and wife Bryndy of Dallas; a sister Evelyn Marie Moore and husband James of Big Spring; a brother, Clarence Ray Marble and wife Glenda of Lexington, OK; nine grandchildren, Briketa Dowell and husband Andy of Amarillo; Michael Mayfield and wife Chelsea of Longview; Leanne Dunton and husband Jonathan of Dallas; Matthew Mayfield also of Dallas; Jay Marble and wife Ashley of Galveston; Paul Hodnik of Amarillo; Johnathan Mayfield also of Amarillo; Joseph Marble and Jared Marble both of Dallas;
MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to the Amarillo YMCA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
