Antonio Sanchez

Antonio Sanchez, 69, of Amarillo passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 15, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery.

Antonio was born on August 10, 1950 to Guadalupe and Esther Sanchez. He married the love of his life, Angelina Zuniga in 1974 in Lynwood, CA. After moving to Amarillo, Antonio was a carpenter and painter for all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, going camping and cookouts. He also enjoyed working in his garden and listening to music. Antonio was a great cook and was known for his carnitas and always wanted his family together on the weekends enjoying the cookouts.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his wife Angelina; two daughters, Martha Garcia and husband Luis and Rebecca Rodriguez and husband Luis; four sons, Antonio Sanchez and wife Isaura, Ruben Sanchez and wife Marisol, Martin Sanchez and wife Rhonda and Ricardo Sanchez and twenty two grandchildren.
