Ann Shell Jones, 54 of Amarillo, passed away on July 28, 2011. Her services are scheduled at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter Rd. Amarillo, TX with Rev. Mike Nuthman of Hillside Christian Church officiating.
Ann was born February 2, 1957 in Sheridan, WY to Raymond Francis and Donna Jeanine Shell. She graduated from Canyon High School in 1975 and attended West Texas University. Ann married Jerry Jones in 1982 in Canyon. She had been a member of Sweet Adeline’s and was formerly a Pharmacy Tech for Twenty Eight years. Ann worked as a Client Specialist for ADVO. She loved camping, needlework, music, shopping and most of all, spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Jones of the home; her sister, Brenda Wilhite and husband Jim of Amarillo; her brother, Bruce Shell and wife Kathy of Round Rock; her nieces, Missy Shell of Tucson, AZ and Elizabeth Wilhite of Amarillo; her nephews, Brad Wilhite of Amarillo and Bryan Shell of Colorado Springs, CO; her uncle, Ron Custis of Debois, WY and many close friends and extended family in Wyoming.
