Anita (Grissom) Trout

Anita Trout, 83, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Amarillo.  She was born on July 16, 1938 in Wellington, Texas to the late W. O. and Goldie Grissom.  She was married to Albert Dewayne Trout, who preceded her in death.  She attended Wellington High School and worked in the AISD cafeteria and was a dietician at hospital cafeterias.  Anita enjoyed reading her Bible and was a former member of San Jacinto Baptist Church and was currently a member of the Church at Quail Creek.  She love animals, books, word find and gardening.

She is survived by her son, Gary Trout and wife Stephanie Hurst Trout of Amarillo.

A visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, December 16, 2021 at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road, Amarillo.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at the LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel.  Online condolences may be made at www.lagroneblackburnshaw.com
