Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at LBS Martin Road Chapel. Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at LBS Martin Road Chapel. Liturgy of the Word will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at LBS Martin Road Chapel with burial in Llano Cemetery East.
Andrea left this world in peace at her home. She was born to Manuel and Petra Flores in Jamestown, ND. Andrea was one of eight children and was raised in several areas of the United States. On May 30, 1945 Andrea married her soul mate Julian Sapien Sr. in Lampasas and was married to him for 68 years. Andrea was a wife, homemaker and mother and her doors were always open to anyone in need. Her Casa was your Casa. On June 8th at 5:54 p.m. at BSA hospital, both Julian and Andrea confessed the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Andrea will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. She had a fighting spirit but a warm heart. Today she walks hand in hand with the Lord Jesus Christ. We love you Mom. Andrea is preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings and her husband Julian in 2013.
SURVIVORS: Five Sons and two daughters, Sally Jimenez and husband Ray of Colorado Springs, CO, Rudy Sapien and wife Rosalie, Julian Sapien Jr., Fred Sapien and wife Melissa, Frances Tinajero and husband Rick, Eddie Sapien, Johnny Sapien and wife Hopie, all of Amarillo; 29 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
