Doris Hall, 85, of Amarillo died on Monday, February 8, 2016. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Don Ralston officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Doris was born on September 28, 1930 in Panhandle to Henry and Alma Lemley. She married Finis Hall on January 2, 1952 and they were married for over forty years. Doris was a homemaker and the backbone of the family as she raised six children. She liked to collect dolls and loved to go square dancing with Finis. She also loved to go shopping and play scratch off lottery tickets. Doris was a great cook and looked forward to the family dinners. Doris loved her family and will be deeply missed by all of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Finis; two daughters, Shirley Jean and Sharon Kay; two grandsons, Jerry Hall II and Jason Tyler Fisher; one brother and two sisters.
She is survived by four sons; Paul Hall and wife Linda of Sayre, OK, Jim Hall, David Hall and wife Tonya and Jerry Hall and wife Cheryl, all of Amarillo; a sister, Melba Lampkin and husband Herschel of Austin; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter.
