Alice Anne Trenfield

Alice Anne Trenfield died on Thursday, November 10, 2016. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Faith Southwest UMC with Reverend Jerry Raab officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in the Higgins, Texas cemetery with Pastor Jon Nichols of Follett United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Alice was born on April 17, 1925 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Herman and Marjorie Smith. She married the love of her life, John Stephenson Trenfield Sr. on July 30, 1944 in Follett. Alice was a homemaker and the record keeper for the family ranch where she was responsible for the pedigrees and registration of the polled Hereford cattle. She was an active member of the Follett United Methodist Church and was also an Eastern Star. Alice was an excellent cook who loved to sew and was an avid reader and bridge player. She loved to travel especially with her grandchildren taking them on special trips on their sixteenth birthdays.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John and one sister, Patricia Click.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Trenfield Wilson and husband Kevin; two sons, George Stanley Trenfield and wife Denise and John Stephenson Trenfield Jr. and wife Cheryl; a brother, Herman "Bud" Smith and wife Claudia; seven grandchildren, Melanie Bertrand, Brady Trenfield and wife Kendra, Aaron Trenfield and wife Shannon, Tracy Trenfield, Nathan Bertrand, Andrea Goodrich and husband Barry, Bryce Trenfield, B.J. Walker and wife Lisa and Heather Hatt; eleven great grandchildren, Ethan Trenfield, Kole Trenfield, Mia Trenfield, Rhylin Trenfield, Graham Trenfield, Cyna Rosa Trenfield, Lexy Goodrich, Skylar Goodrich, Tanner Walker, Kailey Walker and Ramzie Hatt.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, Monday, November 14, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter.
