Alfredia W. Roberts

Alfredia Roberts, 95, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.  She was born on April 10, 1929, in Mississippi, to Clint Williams and Lois Blackledge Williams.  She was married to Russell Roberts.

Survivors include her daughter Sheila and husband Bob Mares, granddaughter Kim Brunett with her daughter Courtney, two great-grandsons Robert Nathaniel and James Ryan Mares, a great granddaughter Christina Barrow.   Many thanks also to my stepdaughter-in-law Sherry with husband Randy Roberts for all their loving help.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, a son Raymond Roberts, a daughter Iva Jean Eschete, one grandson Michael Barrow, and a brother Edward Williams.  

Alfredia attended the Church at Quail Creek and was very spiritual and loved listening to Gospel music.   She worked at Walmart and Western Bowl; she enjoyed bowling as a young lady.  She was an easy-going woman caring and thoughtful of others.  She loved gardening and yard work and was an excellent cook.  In her younger years she won prizes at fairs for her dishes and later, her Bunco group loved going to her house because she fixed such wonderful dishes.
