Agnes Clare Wasik Jarrell passed from this earth Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Agnes was born in Harrah Oklahoma on December 25, 1928, the 2nd daughter of 5 daughters born to John Joseph Wasik and Lillian Martha Kupczynski Wasik. On May 8, 1951, she married Bob Jarrell in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They moved to Amarillo where she went to work for Amarillo Hardware for several years before becoming a homemaker and raising her family, which was the most important thing to her. She loved to travel, taking several cruises and visiting places like California, Washington, Canada, Mississippi, Florida, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New York to name a few. She loved to sew, make quilts, can fruits and vegetables, and make jelly from the garden. She also loved to work in her flower gardens growing beautiful roses and irises.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and her husband.
Survivors include son Mike Jarrell of Washburn TX, granddaughter Kristin Clink of Caro, MI, grandson Andrew Jarrell of Amarillo, TX, daughter Jerri James of Pflugerville, TX, grandsons Randall James of Gautier, MS and Kendall James of Madison, MS, son Robert Jarrell and partner Lori Chaparro of Amarillo, TX, grandson Christopher Jarrell of Stockton, CA, older sister Julia Matthewson of Woodinville, WA, younger sister Helen Roller of Choctaw, OK, 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family members.
