Aaron Valdez

Aaron Marcos Valdez, 19, of Amarillo, Texas passed away of February 13, 2020. Memorial service will be Monday, February 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Viewing for family and friends will be available at 1:00 pm, an hour prior to service.

Aaron was born on October 17, 2000 in Amarillo, Texas to Emma Lozano and Fernando Valdez. Aaron enjoyed making others laugh. He is remembered as loving, playful and for his soft heart for others. He is a cherished and loved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. In his short life, he touched many hearts and brought a brightness that will never be forgotten. He was passionate about basketball, his shoe collection and grinding.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Antonio and Mercedes Manriquez.

He is survived by his parents; Emma Lozano and Fernando Valdez (Edith) of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Erik Valdez and Fernando Valdez Jr.; three sisters, April Reyes (Cesar), Iris Tafoya (Phillip) and Noemi Valdez; four nephews, Ace Garcia, Izaiah Mendoza, Ethan Reyes and Elijah Reyes; one niece, Zoey Tafoya and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who are considered family.
